Montrose Times plans to become a weekly community newspaper both in print and online. The print version will geared for people in the streets. Where to go, what to see, what’s special for this week. It will be similar to tourist guide with brief information and a centerfold map. The online version will be more in-depth with expanded articles, local news, politics, culture, classifieds and more. Please contact us if you would like to advertise or provide content.

On June 1, 2002 I attended my first Gay Day at Disney . That Saturday, the park of choice was the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. All gay participants were encouraged to wear red. As my friend Gary G. and I walked passed through security and on to Main Street, there was a sea of red in every area of the park. Over 125,000 "family" members were there to show that fun and unity can coexist. There were men and women from all ages and races.
